Immortality is not for humans to achieve. It's one of life's greatest punishments.
Reading this I find some science geniuses talking about immortality.

Humans, in our present form, have existed for about 300,000 years. The dinosaurs, which of course are now extinct, existed for about 165,000,000 years. We are but a moment in time on a fraction of a pinprick sized dot in the universe and the next catastrophic event to occur such as the eruption of Yellowstone, or an asteroid striking the Earth of the same scale as the Chicxulub event, will severely threaten our existence as a species. Both of these things will happen at some point.
