Dimitar, I know you probably hate me by now, but I really do wish you the best heading out to focus on what you see suits you. No one knows you better than anyone. If you have the self-control to get yourself towards this path, I'm sure you'll be able to hit your strides in anything towards the future. Best wishes, Dim.
Don’t know you, but I’ve read your posts. I don’t respect your decision. I feel like there are better ways then closing your account. I.E. deleting the app, turning off notification banners, etc. Or filter chess on your WiFi so that you have to use data (money) to play. Just some thoughts. All the best for your future endeavors. If you do close your account, I am worried you will destroy conversations that others may find interesting in the future. Things to consider.

A kid should inform their parent before going out to someplace, and not just take the keys and walk out and make their parents feel worried afterward. In the same way the OP is doing the right thing. It's more polite, and he's doing a good thing by not raising suspicion among his friends here.
