Definitely dogs. If a worldwide apocalypse happens, you are going to want dogs by your side, not cats. They are so much more useful and loyal.
If you run out of food, your cat won't go and catch a rabbit for you. Your dog, however, will.
Depends on what dog it is not all of them will just go ahead and do tha but a bloodhound would do that’s since it’s specialized in hunting
How about this:
If the dog were a Kangal, I would take it over a cat any day. A Kangal is the strongest canine in the world (yes, even stronger than a North American Gray Wolf, or any other wolves), and one of the most loyal. I have a Kangal, and he's great.

If you have a dog and say your trapped in the attic during an apocalypse the dog will provide you more food when you inevitably have to eat it to survive. Also cats would abandon you probably. So dogs
