It's the Grand National in England, anyone do the nags on this one?

It's my one visit to the bookies per year as my wife loves it.

I have a love hate thing with it, I worry about the horses welfare, but i know without horse racing there would be pretty much no horses.

I also only gamble once a year.

Ya'll are lucky. I rode a little Steeplechase, not formally, we set up a course, and I used to Fox Hunt. Yea, I know. I was never blooded in four serious years of riding. I think they stopped all of yours. Saw the Steeplechase in Nashville once, it is the most extreme riding you can do. My name means Lover of Horses and, yes, I do feel for the horses. The foxes are so smart, it's sometimes hard to feel sorry for them. Talley ho! View holla. And, of course, we used the English horn.

They're not near as smart as the Foxes were. Had one run through the field, us lowly followers of the Master of the Hunt, once, right underneath the horses while the hounds were being cast to pick up the new trail a couple hundred yards away as we sat and waited. He was miles away before we got going again. The Hounds are beautiful, but sorta dumb. They can't see and go on the scent. We had three accredited Hunts here. They have the same pressures as in your country.

There is some truth in that, after watching the race I decided it's the last time I put a bet on. I am okay about flat races (steeple chases). But the days of the jump races is over for me.

So I'm guessing the nags is a horse racing event.

I came here to find out about the nags on the forums and got roped into this rodeo. There's some riding.

Watched a vid on Wigan and the Canal and how there's the Canal Turn at the track.

O.K., let me get this straight, Hiram and Potts share the same body and mind, only Potts is married to Woolley, only they can't stand each other which is why they live in separate countries? Don't answer. It will only confuse me more and clog the thread. They say you should take separate vacations from one another and I always thought each having his own house, right next door to each other, was ideal. Ala Frida Kahlo and Diego.

I would think betting together is a way to bring people together. happy We spent a day in Louisville, Kentucky drooling over the beautiful horses, placed $2 bets on 10 races and lost it all. We used to do the Dog Races. Yea, yea, I know.

He stopped wearing kilts as soon as he could think for himself.
