A year has passed since the nightmare curse was defeated, and the kingdom has slowly been returning to normal. But as the scars of that dark time begin to fade, a new shadow emerges from an unexplored corner of the map: the other castle. Built long ago by a benevolent, wealthy figure, the castle was once a sanctuary for those fleeing the horrors of the curse.
Now, something has gone terribly wrong. The once-thriving fortress is a rusted husk, abandoned and twisted. The benevolent founder has gone rogue, corrupted by the same evil that transformed the castle's animated food and other magical inhabitants into dangerous monsters. It has become a new source of malevolence.
Now, the hero Lambern and a few trusted companions (you, the players) must breach the dark fortress. Your mission is to face down the cursed inhabitants, confront the source of the evil, and reclaim the lost sanctuary before the nightmare curse can begin anew. Welcome to... The Other Castle.
