This question is still not resolved, and I fear it never will be ! ......I mean if it was the chicken that came first, how could that be, cos without an egg there’s no chicken ! Which means we’re left with the problem, where did the egg come from 🤷♂️

hey I have a scientific answer for you ( don't know it is correct or not as its my thinking ) ....as all living organisms are made up of cell and first source of life on a planet is a living cell so firstly on earth neither hen nor egg took place it was a cell then it reproduced itself to form various multicellular organisms like animals example hen or ancestors of hen which was then dinosaurs or any other species and when they produced they starting reproducing themselves in the form of eggs so hen came first then egg

I have my own scientific answer, the egg came first! My reasoning is that when farmers used artificial selection (as opposed to natural selection) they had the birds with the most desirable traits breed and eventually the chicken we know came from the EGG that two birds with good traits had. Therefore the egg came first (the birds before the final product was produced were classifieds a different breed of bird)
