Express if you like or do not like the new version of the site

Yea the thought of having to relearn how to do everything I do on chess.com is not a pleasant thought. There are lots of things that I do infrequently. Form many of them I used v2 for years before i learned how to do them. Now to think that I will have to start all over because of - of what?

I will have to start all over because chess.com decided that different is better than keeping what I like, what I have been paying for. 

I am still waiting for somebody to explain why in TT they used to say "You play white" or "You play back" in v2 but that was thrown out for graphics that are either black print on a white background or white print on a black bcakground in v3. Now in addition to trying to solve the TT puzzle I will have to solve the graphical code of what color I play.

And why? Do you think people were complaining about the words "You play white" being hard to understand? Nope. It was changed just to be different. Just like most of the chnages in v3. They are not improvements, they are not better, they are just different.

The bug with the images in the news, the blogs and the forums have been miraculously fixed!

I don't need to take any additional back-up from my blog and my forums until New Year's Eve thanks to the V3 developers !   (V2 destroyers)

Thus there's no objection by me if commander Riker pulls out the plug from V2 on 1st January for the big time ! -- you ignore the 55% - 60 % of people who vote for having V2 only instead of V3  ---  then just do it if you are so sure  --  let it scroll !

but this time you have to do it or else withdraw it now -- cause  I  have heard about this a hundrent times --- why do you really continue this comedy for so long?  has it got any connection with the value of the shares of chess,com in the stockmarket or what? --  

Just do it and all of us will use the lucky V3 in the beginning of the New Year and everyone in the staff will be happy at last

It's time to see how good is V3,  let it scroll !

More reports coming about illegal moves / pieces randomly appearing in the V3 app for Android...

I.e., sometimes newer platform / software comes with new bugs... Sometimes the older platforms are more stable.

(Null) forums appearing.

Banned players popping back in to cast votes in vote chess.

Phantom moves / pieces randomly appearing.

I'm sure it'll take the team months yet to sort out the bug-list for V3.

 Let them have it Joe instead of shouting every now and everyday that  they will pull the plug out from V2 like it is a sadistic procedure

let them have only the Supeslow bug of V3 in the beginning of the Year

 Not only commander Riker, but  I want to have fun too, I guess every bittered members' lips will smile with new superslow product   

The time of slow ieroglyphical chess with V3 has comed, is 2 days away at last!

      With 2017 just a stones-throw away, Erik is completely and totally livid that this thread has been allowed to continue. The original roll-out of V3 was sapose to coincide with the arrival of the Hatchimals. You have nothing to worry about me pulling the Plug. Trust me I have nothing to say about it except like you give my personal opinions.  Maybe we can have a cease fire on the V2 - V3 front for the New Years. I just feel we will never move along past V2 while it is still active. That said I truly understand all the reasons on both sides. Instead of complaining I decided to try and help make it better. With many members I see I have failed. I accept that and respect everybodys opinion. I can now see it is time for me to leave this thread. Everything has been said many times and I think most all fully understand the issues. The rest is in the hands of the site.  I wish everyday Peace and a Happy New Year  Cheers

Not being funny, but it sounds like your idea of making it better is to persuade people to like it...

It needs momentus functional and visual change to make it better

        Oh dear!  A guy with an avatar from "The Far Side" doesn't like jokes.

I like certain things about each version. The new version seems to have a delay bringing up the chessboard on my computer. I couldn't find the flip sides button for the longest time, and I find the profiles of other players difficult to navigate. The look of the new version is good. The computer analysis and especially the self analysis is great. (I don't think the old version had the updating position analysis +1.12 etc.) The player stats are fun to look at and have more to look at than the previous version.
