enjoyable stuff

Hi all, I am fairly new to chess.com as a whole and to the 5-4 group in particular. I like the group's clear identity and felt good to be invited to join. Many posts seem hung up on what the group is about, which seems odd to me. Surely it's about chess! If you like chess then you'll like playing for the fun of the game, the challenge. Any other agenda is surely missing the point. Black Knight clearly explains the aims of the group in the wider context, so having read his messages it should leave no ambiguity. Let's just enjoy life and play chess, all other things should be outside, dealt with in the way that suits the individual! So that's enough soap boxing by me for now, I'm going to find a game!!
