Judit Polgar is one of the most respected and well-known players in the world. A child prodigy, Judit rose to fame in the 80s when, as a teenager, she broke numerous records—including GM Bobby Fischer's record for the youngest person to earn the grandmaster title at the time.
Judit then grew to become the strongest woman player in history, breaking into the world's top 10, a feat no other woman has yet to match. Fighting against all odds, Judit had to break down gender barriers to earn her peers' respect and the right to play against the chess elite. Throughout her career, she beat multiple world champions, including GMs Garry Kasparov, Viswanathan Anand, Anatoly Karpov, and Boris Spassky, often in spectacular attacking games.
More recently, Judit's remarkable career was featured in the hit Netflix documentary Queen of Chess. The documentary broke into the top 10 most popular movies worldwide, reaching the top five in 18 countries.
And now, she can be your next coach right here on Chess.com. With her own voice and style, Judit is ready to make your online chess experience even better!
