Game ix (9/30) - Six different Red Wings scored Wednesday afternoon in their final exhibition before they begin the 2009-10 NHL season this Friday in Stockholm, Sweden. The Red Wings are in Sweden as part of the NHL's Premiere Series this week. Detroit plays the St. Louis Blues in a two-game series this Friday and Saturday at Stockholm's Ericsson Globe Arena. The Wings travelled two-hours west by train today to Karlstad, in central Sweden, to play an exhibition against the defending Swedish Elite League champions. The Wings defeated Farjestad BK, 6-2. Jason Williams, Swede Henrik Zetterberg and Valtteri Filppula gave the Wings a 3-0 lead after one period. Defenseman Brian Rafalski put the Wings up, 4-0, before FBK countered to make it 4-1 after 40-minutes. Swede Niklas Kronwall and Todd Bertuzzi registered third-period goals for the Red Wings, who finished the preseason with a 4-4-1 record.
