Hello, my name is Christian and i am in 2th grade of secundary school (8th grade in America)

my hobbies are football, gaming, hanging out with friends and of course CHESS

these are my chess ratings of September 2024:

-1663 fide classical rating

-1677 Dutch classical rating

-1726 Dutch rapid rating

this is the about me part so we can move on

my (expected) goals i want to reach before 31/12/2024:

-get a Dutch classical rating of 1750 (my peak dutch classical rating was 1713)

-get a Dutch rapid rating of 1750

-maybe get a 1700 fide rating (otherwise a goal for the first 2/3 months of 2025)

-and get a fide rapid and blitz ratings (also around 1700, otherwise a goal for Wachtebeke rapid and blitz 2025 in february)

-play more open tournaments for fide rating

Tournaments (i maybe want to play in, or maybe the first months of 2025):

-the KNSB competition 2024-2025 at 5th level of the Netherlands (at De Stukkenjagers 5th team)

-Stukkenjagers open

-Tata steel 2025 weekend round robbin

-and all the qualifications of the Dutch championship 2025 (under 14)

2025 update: i have had some pretty good months after i wrote this, i beat loads of stong players (with ratings of 1850, 1900 and even 2000) and made some progress this is what i did:

-my worst representation of my goals of 2025 was my dutch classical rating, it went from 1677 to 1717, which is a very good improvement, but i hoped for better (that didn't happen because of some worse months, which i lost some rating)

-then my dutch rapid rating, i almost didn't play for that, but for february 2025 i already played a rapid tournament, with a good outcome, 4.5 out of 7 and a TPR of 1817 (only lost to one 1800 player), so i think it will make a big spike to 1780, which is my highest OTB rating ever (from 1741 to 1780?) so that is a very well reached goal!

-now my FIDE classical rating, which also grew from 1663 to 1694, a good rating gain, i am hoping for a 1700+ rating in march 2025, but i cannot guarantee, so we will see what will happen the next few rounds of the dutch team chess competition.

the plans of 2025/tournaments i want to play in:

in 2024/2025:

-the last rounds of the stukkenjagers open (only for dutch classical rating) and Dutch team competition (for FIDE classical and Dutch classical) -and maybe a few tournaments in the easter and summer (like open Dutch youth championship U14 or some other tournaments in Greece or Spain or something)

in 2025/2026:

-play in the Dutch team competition (hopefully again in the 5th tier or maybe the fourth tier) and stukkenjagers open (maybe) -play some rapid tournaments in my spare time (50% for rapid rating) and i will see what ill maybe do later...

my rating goals for the end of 2025/beginning 2026:

-a Dutch classical rating of 1800+ -a Dutch rapid rating of 1850/1900 -a FIDE classical rating of 1750/1800 -and get FIDE rapid (1750/1800) and blitz (1700/1750) ratings

and thats what i wanna do in 2025, even though i don't have loads of time to make those dreams come true, but i'll surrely try and we hope nothing goes wrong this year, stay safe!
