Hey, I’m Matt ! (FR / EN)

I’m a beginner at chess and enjoy slow games — I like having the time to really think my moves through.

Go, on the other hand, has been my passion for over 25 years. My official rating is 2200+ (3 dan). I love sharing the game, so if you’d like to learn the rules or get some tips on your play, feel free to reach out ! I teach for free and can help players up to around 2000 (1 kyu / 1 dan).

About chess :

Ideally, I’d like to gain enough knowledge to enjoy whatever game I play. (as opposed to being crushed 100% of the times, except for Martin-bot whom I love to give a beating). I don’t have a particular ELO in mind, but 1500-1800 would be a good start.
