Today I continue to write about my daily experiences in the 21 days to Supercharge your chess course.
You can read about the past days:

Day 10, Day 11, Day 12, Day 13
My goals:
1. I want to study chess in an organized way. I hope 21 days of organized study of the course will build my habit to create and follow my study plans after the course finished.
The structure of the study of Day 14 was the following:
- Theoretical section:
Today I studied about the positions with an isolated pawn.
I think the most important key idea is the following:
The isolated pawn is good in the middlegame, but bad can be in the endgame.
How to play with an isolated pawn?
1. Push the isolated pawn to make a pawn break to open the position for your better placed pieces!
2. Put a knight to e5 where the isolated d4 pawn defends it!
3. Attack the king!
4. Avoid the exchange of the pieces!
How to play against an isolated pawn?
1. Block the isolated pawn by a knight!
2. Exchange pieces to go to a better endgame!
3. Attack and win the isolated pawn!
Master game:
In today's game white sacrificed his isolated pawn to open the position in front of the black king and used his active pieces to attack the king.
I annotated the full game:
Tactics:
Decoying was the key motive today.
I share with you the 2 most attractive combinations:
Endgame:
Today we had a beautiful knight versus bishop endgame, where the knight needed to block the bishop to prevent the blockade of a passed pawn.
Conclusions of the Day 14 of the
1. We learnt How to play with and against the isolated pawn.
2. In today's master game we looked a pawn sacrifice to open the position to create a strong attack agaist the uncastled king.
3. I solved puzzles about decoying.
4. The knight versus bishop endgame showed how can a knight control the squares of the bishop
I decided to follow how much time I use every day for the study and monitor the total time used too.
Today I used 50 minutes. The total time I used until today is 11 hours and 34 minutes. You can follow the daily training times in this --> document
