Hello, and welcome to Grasshopper Antics! We will check out Grasshoppers traverse ancient lands of the city of Chessboard, and travel from one side to another!
Grasshopper Roller
Say that there are two Grasshoppers; one on the edge, and another next to it, making a line pointing to the opposite edge. One Grasshopper jumps over the other, making them one square closer. On the next turn, the other Grasshopper jumps over the first, and so on, until they touch the edge, and they’ve reached their goal! Note that this doesn’t apply to the two Grasshoppers and King vs King endgame because, like I said, at least one of them get captured if they dare check, and if the hopped-over Grasshopper is protected by the King, the opposing King can flee.
