Scared of a Zombie Invasion?
Zombie invasion is a big What if? and yet unlikely, with very odd circumstances could occur, yet we will probably never see this happen.
A so-called zombie apocalypse would probably reduce one’s brain power, so would humans win in a fight against the zombies, even with White piece advantages?
Zombanny vs Danny
This should be easy. An IM bot should easily beat a 400 bot, and we all should too. Zombanny is the easiest bot in the five, and he got checkmated in just 26 moves, losing by a whopping 24 points! The crucial mistake came on move 11, just after leaving book theory, which automatically hung a knight, and it was all downhill from there.

Zotez vs Alexandra
A small bit closer in rating, but 1300 points is still enough. Zotez lost the French in just nine moves, the game ending in a few knight hops and a spectacular smothered mate in the opening.
Still shouldn’t be quite hard at this point.

Zombiano vs Fabiano
Zombiano got crushed in his game against Fabiano. Mistakes here and there led to a steep fall and eventually lost to a very common mating theme: queen defending rook in corner checkmating king trapped by his own pawns.

Zombiachtchi vs Ian
We’re past the Zombie-1000 mark! Black had an advantage before even out of book theory thanks to Zombiachtchi playing a dubious gambit: the “Banzai-Leona, Pinova Gambit?”
A few inaccuracies on Zombiachtchi’s part led a smooth game downhill, with Ian even getting a brilliancy in the review: 16…Bxc3!! taking advantage of the battery and winning an exchange soon.

Zombaru vs Hikaru
The final and closest in rating (just over 1000 points apart!) was the longest game by eight moves. None of the bots even survived forty moves, much less fifty.
Just like in every game, the human-bot played accurately, while the zombie-bot made mistakes here and there and eventually lost. A few bad moves in the opening led to loss of a pawn, and eventually turned out to be more than that.

Every zombie has lost its game, so we should not be afraid of a zombie invasion! Regardless, many people have been panicking, so keep in mind that you’ll always be able to outplay those bots.
