Since the 1960's, Westerinen has been a major force in Finland's Olympic team competing in 18 consecutive Olympiads. The featured game is a miniature in the King's Bishop's Gambit Jaenisch variation, one of Westerinen's specialities. His opponent Tyni leaves his queen en prise only to fall for a desperado combination.
