As we all know, WoFs have a very small board, and even if they don't, the color scheme is 4PC (such as in Pac-Chess or Inside the Horror Night). So, I decided to make this challenge, with 4 rules. 1. Must be a board above 6x6 or 8x8 size on BOTH the x and y axis. 2. The color scheme must be B&W. 3. It can have less pieces, just like a usual WoF, or more, which very few accepted WoF variants have. 4. The max time control is the usual max, 2 | 2D. 5. It shouldn’t steal names for other WOFs or NCVs, whether these WOFs or NCVs are competitor variants or not! Have fun! Kings, Queens, 1-point Queens, Amazons, and chancellors are in the back. (primary) Secondary pieces are in 2nd row, and tertiary pieces, Pawns and other Pawns, are in front, the reason why there are 2 normal Pawns is because if you move one of them up in the 4th rank, it promotes to a Ferz, Sailboat, Camel rider, Knight rider, Chancellor, Wildebeest, or Alibaba rider. The rules are that it is a torpedo and capture the king variant. It also is not rated. Made by: FrutigerAeroPawnStatus: Declined: Hello! Thank you for making your first variant! This variant has the following issues: 1. It has a lot of knight hybrids which don't add anything unique to normal chess. 2. Because the pieces are seemingly randomly placed, there are some first move captures and overall it is difficult to find a square to not hang your piece. 3. The torpedo gamerule is not useful because pawns promote on the 4th rank (very closley to their base rank) and the promotions are also questionable with the chancellor being by far the strongest one. For theese reasons, we are declining this variant. We are looking forward to see your other ideas and revision!

For the variant, it isn't as exciting as it seems when playing it. I feel like the opening is way-too-slow-paced, even shuffling for few moves can work well. The variant kinda loss its original fun, in order to trade complexity and uniqueness that Testing Team required.  Another problem begins with pieces synergy. When combining with crazywan, especially when it has only 1 crazywan piece who is given in the opening, you have really limited developments. Though, as time goes by, one of the players starting a trade, or one of the players advanced too much that the other player is forced to defend with development, the game will truly begins. Status: Declined  Thanks for submitting your excellent masterpiece!  However, the pieces synergy and the game-play isn't balanced enough. Pieces, such as Grasshopper and Camel-rider are extremely dynamic; While the main game-play of pawn advancement feels incredibly slow. The issue makes the variant feels difficult to progress, simultaneously dull/boring sometimes. The suggested fix is to accelerate pawns advancement and reduce the dynamic of certain pieces. We're looking for a revision to be made!

First, the yellow soldier chases the blue king for 10 turns, so the blue king must keep moving until it arrives b2, the blue king only has 1 check left, but the soldier cannot chase the blue king anymore and it has no more pawn moves, so it will start to move the wazir. Also, green’s soldiers keep taking dead soldiers for a total of 28 moves, after it has taken all the dead soldiers, green does not have any moves else and must play Wc4, then on the next turn, yellow will check blue’s king and the game ends on the 31st move (Blue immediately loses after red moves). - The game: Red has a royal sergeant with only 3 checks (13th rank), and 1 soldier on the 10th and 9th rank, 1 sergeant on the 8th and 7th rank. After the 10 moves, red need to survive 20 turns without getting checked 3 times. Blue’s goal is to check the red royal 3 times after the 10 turns and before 20 turns run out. Small Note: Changed a little bit, but doesn’t actually affect the gameplay and nobody played Kc3 after the green sergeant moved. And after hearing @Rethlit ‘s advices and looking at his games, I decided to give red 2 more checks and give green 5 more moves. This colour means this is changed after his advice. by @AllenBB314 Status: Declined The concept, the imbalance is interesting, however, the forced sequence, size of the board making it must be a forced win for some side. We strongly suggest you expand the board and add more variety.

It has atomic and it is an NCV, but the factor if this game is completely different. In atomic, you usually attack aggressively, with inaccurate moves killing your advantage right away. Here, there is this brand new concept - atomic + elimination chess. Now early attacks are almost impossible, and one inaccurate aggressive move can be easily punished. This makes it a strategical game, where you have to carefully get to your opponents side and try to eliminate their king without putting yourself at a disadvantage. The player needs to keep a good balance between attacking and defending and finding a good place for your pieces. Status: Declined Self-Declined by author in the comments
