I’ll give everyone a short recap of what we’ve learned so far.

1.)The Sicilian Defense is busted. It loses by force to 2. c3

2.) Black’s best chance at counterplay is to play 2. d5 or Nf6. With best play Black is still lost even after these moves though.

3. Black’s best chance to try to play solidly and draw is by trying to transpose into a French Defense. Black can’t quite achieve this, but it’s probably the best try.

4. All other moves lose pretty much immediately for black due to white’s superior piece development and center control.

Argument 1) is not backed up enough

Argument 2) The First part is true, but you never came actually close to refuting 2...Nf6 which would be a good start to pretending you've refuted the Sicilian; What you've managed to achieve is to get a -0.50 position after 10 moves(Thanks to @drmrboss for playing Stockfish's moves):

3) If your this argument and the last one were true, that would be a contradiction. However, this can be no misunderstanding as they are both(only partly for the 2) )false. How can you prevent black from reaching a good french ?
4)Of course some other moves are fine too ! Here are some of them :

I’m torn as to whether or not the Delayed Alapin is a wise course of action. On one hand it usually provokes the move 2.d6 which is pretty useless in most Alapin lines, but at the same time I think it’s probably just better to not waste any time  and immediately play 2. c3

What would be your suggestion for how to react to 1 e4 c5 2 Nf3 d6 3 c3 Nf6 ?

I think 4. e5 is pretty much forced

What happens after 4...dxe5 ?

I’m sorry I visualized  the position incorrectly. White should not play 4. e5, probably Qc2 instead

I can guarantee u that u will lose to any titled player if white plays 15. Ne4 and put ur Q en prise. And ur gonna sweat like u haven't before to keep ur Q out there cuz a trade will toast u w/ white's passer.

Probably Bb5+

2. Nf6 is in my opinion a much better move than 2. d5 because it develops blacks kingside which gets black closer to castling, whereas after 2. d5 black is still as far away from kingside castling as he was when the game started

Insτead of wasting our time with ignorant comments, you could just realize it's a very simple transposition (1.e4 c5 2.c3 Nf6 3.e5 Nd5 4.d4 cxd4 5.Nf3 e6 6.cxd4 d6 etc) to one of the most topical Alapin lines.

Or course both moves should be fine but ...Nf6 is simpler

Utter crap.

What did I say that wasn’t true?

Nope, but in the game Black played 2...e6, not 2...d6 (which leads to some independent lines, not necessarily worse, or better than the Alapin).

Intellectual hype must be invested into solving the grand unified theory of everything. Theoretical physics is the king of sciences, if Gauss was right in stating that mathematics is the queen of all sciences. Interestingly, the acronym for intellectual hype, ih, features prominently in Dirac's equation and Schrodinger's time dependent equation. Intellectual hype indeed. It is all, I demand, albeit supply may not be equal, an absurdity and I shall think nothing more or less of it, knowing that it possesses the soul of many. The soul of chess has captivated many bright minds with its visuospatial reasoning, yet its futility instils the sense of foreboding we have all felt. A wave of terror abruptly embalmed the citizens of Laputa, whom could do nothing to circumvent but stand there helplessly and embrace the inevitable. Embrace the quantum Darwinism. Embrace the Trans Planckian. Embrace the draconian Dirac sea.
