one of my favourite is ''The Blue Dunabe'' by Strauss.This I can listen non-stop while travelling, cooking,working,cleaning and even flowers grow faster (this scientific fact was checked by me 1 month ago)

One of the finest pieces for its layered rising sound is for me Pachelbel's cannon.

I like Jules Massanet "Meditation" and Edvard Grieg "Nocturne"

I am with jerommeke.  There is something about Grieg's music that puts me in the cold, far reaches of northern Europe.  Being from sunny southern California, I find this very refreshing!  I enjoy snow, ice, and the cold because we don't see much of that here.  I especially enjoy "Morning Mood", where the music paints a picture of the rising sun for me.
