How should guys behave? Is it ok for guys to talk to girls here?

I personally don't want make anyone uncomfortable....But I think everyone is very wary, for good reasons I guess...

Also I think there are better people than me.....and I think there is always room for improvement in ones own character...So I'd like to learn how to be better....and learn to make friends, respecting them and being able to talk without anyone feeling they have to constantly keep up their guards......
