I was one of many who began playing shortly after Fischer won the championship. 

My high point was probably when I was one of six people invited to play in the state championship but my favorite chess adventure was winning seven straight games at a county fair while on LSD.  I quit playing over 40 years ago so I plan on using "a bit rusty" as an excuse for all future losses.
