International Vote Chess Team

Welcome to International Vote Chess Team! We are a small but strong team that was founded approximately seven years ago. During our first three years, we won hundreds of vote chess games and set numerous chess.com records. We were the #1 vote chess team in chess.com in 2020-2021 and peaked at an all-time podium spot of #12 on the world leaderboard. However, our team fell into inactivity and we have slipped in the rankings. We are currently looking for new administrators and members who will help reactivate the team. If you are interested in joining us you may send a request to join with a brief note indicating how you will help International Vote Chess Team succeed.

It is worth noting that our acceptance rate for applicants is below 10%. We do not accept the vast majority of applicants because they do not meet the following criteria:

Your correspondence rating must be above 1200.

Your timeout rate in correspondence chess cannot be above 5%.

You must be a member of less than 25 chess.com teams.

You must complete at least 40 correspondence games prior to admission OR have previous vote chess experience.

You must have been an active member of chess.com for at least one year prior to joining.
