UO #1(Uncommon Openings): The Mieses
So today I will be teaching you the Mieses opening. The Mieses is usually affiliated with a certain variation of the Scotch, but it can also be 1. d3, so today I am here to teach you what to do when faced with d3 or when you play(/misclick d3). There is a simple setup that you need to remember, and you should have a solid position going into the middlegame.
This is the position most reached when masters play the Mieses, but I think that a more hypermodern approach is better for this opening.
