This is a new development that I think is a real pain in the neck. There have been discussions of illicit teaming, where people use the chat to agree to team up, which is understandably against the rules. But recently, if player A sees that player B has done something that benefits player C, because player B had to make a choice between inconveniencing A or C, player A accuses B and C of teaming.  It has to be up to the player him/herself to choose who they want to attack. Many factors can be involved. Maybe player A has more points, and is more of a threat. Maybe player A has been annoying in chat. Whatever, as long as there is no agreement to team, then in my opinion it is not teaming. This whining about teaming when there is in fact no cheating taking place is provocative and distracting. Can we agree to stop it?

I wonder who is down to play my brand new creation of 4PC. Its Capture the King with Fairy pieces. Amazon cant be promoted, there is only one for each. All pawns promote to Wildebeest, Chancellor, QUeen or Archbishop. In the FFA mode, it is: Capture the King, Takeover (Gain of all main remaining pieces of the captured King) and Crazy House (Turning captured pieces into your own), Diplomacy and Spectator Chat with 2 min, 15s incremental (Pic is misleading). King is only worth 3 points, but you get his main pieces. And in Teammode, you can partner with yourself or someone else. THe Blue and Green Kings are irrelevant. Its only the Red and yellow that matters. So Red and Green Vs Blue and yellow with no spectator chat and 3 Minutes, 15 seconds incremental (Pic is misleading again). All pawns promote to Wildebeest, Chancellor, QUeen or Archbishop. Im always gonna play this on sundays between 4:30-06:00pm UTC (so 12:30-2:00pm EDT (New York time) and 06:30-08:00pm CEST (Middle Europe) time). Sometimes 3 hours later again, so beginning 07:30-0900pm UTC. And Wednesday 10:30pm-12:00am(Thursday) UTC. New york time: (06:30-08:00pm) and (Middle European Time: Thursday (00:30-02:00am) Cheers

How many friends have you got?

Can someone explain to me why there is an option to follow other players? When you friend someone, you automatically follow them. But for unfriended players (even ones who you block or who block you) you still have the option to follow them. I see nowhere on chess.com for you to see who you follow, only your friends list. So what's the point?

how come some variants get deleted? There are lots of people saying that a variant they liked has been removed, and I would like to clear things up for them. Fairyland, Rock Paper Scissors, and a few others have been removed. Please clear this up for them

In reality, just after the game started, I disconnect from the server and that is what actually happened to me. Especially since the variants server was disconnecting me lots of times yesterday :<

Colour blind people asked to adapt the game for their needs. I create this forum topic to discuss how exactly the game should be updated. It is obvious that the colours should be replaced with some patterns. Like "Polka Dots" for Green or "Checkers" for Blue. The patterns should be crisp and well-defined. Diagonal lines? Some waves? If anyone here have any ideas and can draw them, post the pictures please. We can leave 2 contrast colours (like White instead of Red and Black Instead of Yellow), but there are 3 more colours that should be replaced with patterns: Blue, Green and Gray.
