P1: 1st rank (highest rated) P2: 2nd rank P3: 3rd rank .. until P16: last rank The 16 players will be put into 4 Quad (each 4 players). Quad-A (P1, P2, P3, P4)Quad-B (P5, P6, P7, P8)Quad-C (P9, P10, P11, P12)Quad-D (P13, P14, P15, P16) This way we will have the most competitive with closer rating difference between players inside a Quad. The 4 players in a Quad will play in Double RR (Round Robin) system (2 players will play each other with both color). 6 total rounds. A player will play total 6 games. Time control: 90m+30s, Rated Time span for a round: 2 weeks. Schedule Round-1 (Jun 01 - Jun 15)Round-2 (Jun 16 - Jun 30)Round-3 (Jul 01 - Jul 15)Round-4 (Jul 15 - Jul 31)Round-5 (Aug 01 - Aug 15)Round-6 (Aug 16 - Aug 31) There is flexibility in these dates, since for a round robin tournament the results of a round do not affect the pairings in the following rounds. You can play the game not in the sequential order (eg. play Rd-3 opponent first, then Rd-1, Rd-2 etc). What matter is that you must play & finish your total 6 games before Aug 31. The next tournament that I will organize is : SWISS OPEN, 90m+30s All players from all rating category are invited, as this is Swiss Open. Number of Rounds : 6 Rounds. 20 days time span between a Round and next Round. NOTE : I decided to give 20 days time span for this tournament (instead of 2 weeks/ 15 days in previous tournament) to accommodate your already busy schedule. Date/time to play : considering the players are from various Continent, we will never use a fixed time,but instead : you will have 20 days time span, to negotiate with your opponent, to find the best time to play the game within that 20 days span. I expect Round 1 will start on Jun 1st (with time to play until Jun 20th). then Round 2 will start on Jun 21st (with time to play until Jul 10th), and so on. Hello everyone, I will open 2nd league soon. Anyone who's interesting in joining, please write in the comment section. I will decide the format later depend on number of participants. It could be just single Round robin, or double round robin. If the rating spread of participants are too large, I will also consider to divide into section for U1500 and A1500, or we could use Swiss system I will make it 2 weeks time span to finish a round, to make you easier to find good time. The pairing schedule will not be strictly binding - I mean if the 2 players can't find the good time to play in any particular round, they can delay it to another week/ so. or vice versa if some players would like to play any particular round earlier than the schedule, it is fine too. Note : in 90m+30s, you must be ready to allocate at least 4 hours of time, because assuming that if both of players use almost all his time plus 30s increment.Thanks . Have fun !-Chien

Hi everyone. I created this Team mainly or initially for practicing 90m+30s only and I will not change that. Recently a lot of members are asking me for the popular 45m+45s time control. For some who are not able to spend 3 - 4 hours time for 90+30, here I open invitation for 45m+45s. NOTE : I will open this 45.45 just occasionally, as our main will always be 90.30 All players from all rating category are invited, as it will be Swiss system with 5 rounds - time span for each round will be 2 weeks. I prefer small but solid dedicated members though.Let's start our first tourney of 90m+30s. We will make it double round robin, each play each other with W & B. The time span for 1 round to be finished is 2 weeks. You and your opponent will negotiate the best time to play - you will post the agreed time in comment section, and also the result of game afterward along with game link. I make it 2 weeks time span to finish a round, to make you easier to find good time. Note : in 90m+30s, you must be ready to allocate at least 4 hours of time, because assuming that if both of players use almost all his time plus 30s increment.
