I am playing black. I was losing game but then I got chance I used by trump card means checks, when I started giving checks then not stop upto I win or lose. This technique always work just want one chance. Last time one person said to add annotations in game so my question is What is annotations and how to add it?

This was a game between me and a WIM named dragonslayer (Dragon vs DragonSlayer interesting) I got an accuracy of 96.0 and managed to win this game in 23 moves. Dragons and the Special Cat. I hope this doesn't displease her as this is the 3rd club I posted about my victory. For those of u who don't believe she was titled and my accuracy was 96.0 - https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/live/20009422041?tab=report

Find the advantages you have, suffer for a little bit, then win a pawn, and then combine the advantages you have with your pawn play and force a blunder from your opponent. Easy. Flag if needed

Put pressure to win. I am going to show and express my thoughts in one of my games where I put pressure on a 2k rated ( I am only a 1400) in rapid to draw(I had 1 chance to win, and I cud have flagged him, criticize if you think you shud) Got lucky in terms of judgement hehe.

Is this situation is it better to just trade the bishops, let black castle and win a single pawn, or to sac the bishop (like I did) to win a pawn + rook. kind of confusing what I should’ve done here.
Can you think like Stockfish? This cheeky puzzle comes from a game I just played against stockfish 20. If you haven’t already, download the stockfish app - it’s a great way to learn and practice.

All his posts that I know of are deleted. I also checked the old notes, and the notes I remember him posting aren't there. I checked his account (@MLP8) and it says "Member name does not exist". Does anyone know what happened to him?

In today's arena tournament hosted by pog streamer @moonwarrior_1, after a few games against 700's who played like GM's, I got paired up against @icyboyyy and then @DaBabysBurner. In the game against @icyboyyy ... well, let's just say uh.. his queen? Is my bae now. But it was interesting how it happened: Fresh off a win on an 1800, my very next game was @DaBabysBurner. I warned him that I had just beaten an 1800, so "don't play with me here boi" were the words used to warn my opponent that sensational play he was about to witness. I have to say, this was the very best game I've ever played against @DaBabysBurner - he's actually adopted me (lul) because his tactics are god-like. But, playing with him must've worn off on me because his didn't tactic me once, despite his best efforts. Sadly, my heart breaks to write this, it pains me deeply to admit this, it crushes my soul like a pit of utter blackness to say this ... but I blundered the end game by hanging my queen. I got nervous as I was very low on time (we both had 15 or so seconds left) and I didnt want a draw, I wanted a DAMN WIN! So, I just went for a fast check without thinking ... and boi, boi boi boi boi.. boi boi boi boi boi.. i paid for it. oi boi. My heart, like a stone in my chest that now pathetically beats to the drum of sadness, fell from the heights of elevation amongst Zues of beating DaBaby. But it does not take away from how great of a game it really was. congrats to @ninjaswat for 1st place, @b1zmark for 2nd place @dababysburner for third place ! all members of Beginners & Masters!

Hey, I come here for good recommendations for chess books. Some may say don’t get them, but I think otherwise. You get guidance from IM’s and GM’s, plus, you can analyze it yourself to get better understandings. Here are chess book topics I would LOVE to study: Sicilian Defense (Studying Tremendously with ninja, I want to get every bit of theory into my head on this since it is so big. Ninja can’t cover every bit of detail of theory because there is a ton. So I need to get a good and detailed book on a few variations of it.) Good E4/D4 Openings Book (White), (could be separate regarding books, maybe 2 instead of e4 and d4 in 1 book) Intermediate/Advanced players book’s (going for gold here, I should be studying “beginners” books, but oh my god all of them are how to move your dang pieces) Chess Tactics (big one on my list) I really would like the Sicilian, chess tactics, and an openings book for white since I am studying Sicilian for black. Intermediate books are also good. Don’t hate on me for wanting chess books, keep your opinion to yourself here, unless it’s about a book or constructive criticism. Thanks!

I recently studied a lot for white against the major black defenses (Sicilian, French, Caro-Kann, etc.) and against e5 chose to play the King's Gambit but I realized that I may not always want to play such a risky opening, especially in classical games, and the only other thing I play are the Réti and English, and once in a while I want to mix it up. Are there any lesser known e4 white openings that are very good! Thanks!

I noticed many people in this club ( including me) are watching Euro 2020/2021. But others don’t watch football at all. So maybe we can talk about it here?

Happy April Fools Day! April 1, 2025: “The ability to play chess is the sign of a gentlemen. The ability to play chess well is a sign of a wasted life.” -Paul Morphy, GM. (Do you think he stole this quote from his dad who shamed him into quitting chess?)
