The daily match overview page has a new button "Sync Scores": What's the function of this button? Apparently to synchronise scores. But between what and what? When are scores un-synced?

When analysis is finished and report generated, going move by move on "Openings" tab is frustrating because after each move focus is shifted back to "analysis" tab - this is really annoying, I see no reason for this. Once clicked on some tab it should stay there if otherwise not requested.

I have a suggestion, at live chess, there are lots of variants but at daily, it is only standard and 960. Why not add, King Of The Hill, Crazyhouse and 3 Check to daily chess, and maybe Bughouse too? What do you think? Thanks

When analyzing a game without the premium analysis, there is only the computer evaluation bar that shows which side is better. It does however tend to jump around a lot. For example going to the next move, it may jump up to +7.9, then adjust to +1.4 as it increases the depth. This makes it rather difficult to see at a glance which move made your position better or worse, as the position might be 1.4 for 10 moves, but as it keeps jumping each time the move is changed, it's hard to tell. Maybe there could be a sort of delay on the bar, that would keep the bar from the previous move until at least 50% of the depth has been calculated so the jumps between moves would be more reflective of the actual evaluation changes.

For the PCL Battle Royales, does chess.com staff have to manually create each game/pairing or does chess.com have like a 'preset' to automatically create the pairings and the games, given eight clubs of four? If there is a preset, are there plans in the works to create monster matches with a bunch of different clubs, or for club tournaments?

1. I recently posted about a bug in a tactic, and I noticed it didn't have any comments. When I looked at other ones, however, they had comments. Are there new tactics? Or did I just get something 27000000 people haven't gotten in 12 years? 2. After people suggest or vote on what type of puzzle a tactic should be, do you look to see if you agree with them on every puzzle? What happens if people vote randomly and you have a mate in two puzzle be about overloading or something? 3. Non membership members can do each of the three things until the free puzzles run out. After they finish one thing, they can do the second, and then the third. 4. Can the stats show the Learning tactics, too? Right now, they only show the rated tactics and puzzle rush. 5. When I go to tactics/puzzle and click on Learning mode, I see that the only Theme I have done is All Themes. I did some Alekhine's gun puzzles, but they were not recorded because they were unrated. Can the unrated ones be recorded too? 6. Why do the pieces move so fast? When I clicked the next button to do a new puzzle, the pieces moved so much that my computer lagged a little, making me click the help button. 7. Tactics puzzles solution says 72 percent solved. Stats says 73 percent solved. 8.Not a puzzle bug, just a general question: Why can't I view my notifications when typing a new topic. When I scroll over them while typing this, nothing happens.

I noticed that I can no longer access to vote chess and team matches in the group if I had turned off vote chess and team match buttons. I cannot Edit because of the 2 hearts I put in the group name in v2. I want to keep the hearts too. How do I see my previous vote chess games?

On my chess app when I go to the Live tournaments, and I get all the regular live chess tournaments for regular chess. I can also enter live 960 tournaments on my phone, but can not do crazyhouse, 3 check, or king of the hill live chess tournaments/arenas. Can you add it so that I can enter live crazyhouse/king of hill/3 check tournaments on phone please

I cannot comment on ANY thread. It gives me the option to leave or cancel. If I cancel it doesn't post. If I leave it doesn't post and says that i can't leave a post empty. Please fix this. I have NOT been muted

You can't do anything in Forums for some reason except for posting quotes of other people and creating forums. Requote if you have the same problem

When clicking the post button in the forum , I am asked if I want to leave the site. Choosing "leave" seems to erase my post. Cancel is the other option. It does nothing.

Perhaps wrong forum, but this is in the new analysis page so I thought it should appear here. What is the difference between "Best Move" and "Brilliant" when performing analysis. Better yet, is there someplace where i can view the definitions of all the categories? I did an analysis a few days ago, and one of my moves was supposedly brilliant though for the life of me, I cannot say why. I do like the new analysis though, it really helps. Especially the retry, almost like a puzzle to get the perfect moved. FX

I just played with someone, we both wanted av rematch and clicked almost at the same time on rematch, result : one propose the rematch and half a second later the other refuse because the " X " is at the same position as " rematch " Best regards, Aladdin Von Sane

So, if you complete a tactic trainer puzzle correctly, you can click the retry button and do it again, and if you get it correct, it will show that you gained rating (again). However, your real rating remains unchanged. Not sure if it is a serious bug though.

When analyzing a game, it shows a magnifying glass icon next to your move and the best move that lets you follow the line, which is nice. However looking through the line of the best move more often than not leads to a horrible evaluation and includes inaccuracies and blunders the closer you get to the end of the line. Shouldn't they be the best moves? I understand that the initial depth towards the end gets lower compared to the depth that analyzes each move, but then maybe the two top moves shown that let you explore the lines need to be calculated to as deep as the line and the "regular" depth added to that depth, so that reaching the line still displays the best moves. I played Qh4+ and it showed it as my only mistake and said that Qc7 was best. I went through that line and it ended horrible, so I started writing this thread, wanted to go back to write the evaluation number that the mistake and best line end up as, but now, well, take a look I mean, I wouldn't mind if my opponent took his own queen with his bishop, but I'm not sure that's how it works... After refreshing I was able to run it again. The mistake line leads to +0,86, the best line leads to -4,99 but that's because the last move is a giant blunder that loses the rook for a pawn and the engine shouldn't include moves like that in an evaluation line

In some puzzles, the "opponent" is using every desperate move to prolong not getting mated. It's most visible in the back rank mates where all possible covers are played. Once the correct first move is played, the only way to fail those problems is to missclick, because those captures are so obvious. Could the problem end earlier maybe? As an example, https://www.chess.com/puzzles/problem/135071 could easily finish after the first move.
