I am stuck around 800 ELO on chess.com. I can easily take down 1200s and 1300s, when I play them, so why am I stuck at 800? If anyone has any advice or knows why I am stuck, please tell me.

hey guys, I have been progressing pretty consistently over the summer, going from like 400 when I started in April to high 800s now. I get pretty solid wins but still have the occasional really bad loss. I'm wondering how the heck I'm supposed to get past 900 and 1000. I have wins over a couple players rated around 1000 or 1100 but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Most of my mistakes are supposedly tempo mistakes and I think don't blunder too often. Suggestions?

I was in a blitz tournament my rating was about 1000 I faced a couple of 1550-1800 and in one of my games I hung a lot of pieces because i was distracted but my opponent took none of my hanging pieces

I'm getting crushed by the sheer number of graphs. How do y'all use the tool/s? Looking at my last 7 days (Nov 2023 23-29), 35 games, this is what I gather: Too many blunders. I left too many pieces hanging on both sides. Apparently I don't know how to move my K. My endgame accuracy was low, but somehow I won most games that make it that far. I missed a few checkmates; I was out of time, but still...missed #1? (I took a course on mates a few weeks ago.) What else are you guys seeing? I'm blundering pieces, but how do I improve without losing on time? Feel like I've been stuck around 1400 for 14 years, but I'm struggling to figure out what needs work (besides everything) and how to work on it. Thanks!

I recently reached a rating of 1000, then lost it. Any suggestions on how to recover?

Looking to play games against players of any rating. Whoever wins our 1v1 gets sent an award or trophy from the other player. Fun way to challenge ourselves, and also earn trophies as well!
So I am playing in nationals and based on previous tournaments I will be near the bottom middle, which means I’ll be most likely playing experts. How do you play against an opponent with a 1000 Elo rating gap?
I've been playing chess online for about 3 months now, and I noticed I had a somewhat talent for the game. I play in my first over-the-board (In real life) tournament in a couple of days, what's the best way to train, and make sure that I am in peak condition for the day of reckoning. Side note: Are you supposed to say checkmate after you checkmate someone, or are you just supposed to shake hands after the mate? Because I know you aren't allowed to talk in tournaments. Thank you in advance.
White to move and draw My friend made this interesting but very tricky puzzle.Even Stockfish need to spend some time to evaluate this position is a draw. A very deep and have so many lines,a little careless you will lose.....But white have the same idea ----- stalemate Welcome everyone to think and discuss about it!!

If I participate in tournaments USCF tournaments on chess.com, will I receive USCF rating from these games?

Hey guys, I'll be doing my first FIDE-rated tournament in a few weeks. It features G90;+30 (which is a relatively long time compared to what I usually play, G30;+5) and I feel like I may get burnt out or just mentally numb in the middle of the game. I find it hard to concentrate for a long period of time on chess, and I always need something to think of to keep me moving. How should I prepare in advance? Also, if anyone has tips on actually training before the tournament would be greatly appreciated
