I've known how to play since I was 7 years old, but I only started playing when I was 13, in September. I was around 300-400 back then, now since September 2023, I am 14 with a rapid rating of 1100 (Chess.com) and a rapid of 1500 in Lichess with a tournament at my local school under my belt. I score an average of 80-85% accuracy on good days, and around 70-75% on bad days, and on extra good days when I'm playing well, I get around 90-95% accuracy, I'm not wondering if I'm going to be a master or anything, just wondering that if I stick with chess, I'll get to 2000+ by the time I'm twenty. Feel free to review my games and give me some things to improve on. I'm open to criticism, thank you in advance. (:

I recently played in a tournament at my local school, I went 4-0 in a swiss tournament. If my opponents had an average rating of about 1000, what would my OTB rating be?

Please make the title more specific other than "How can I improve?" because if that's your question there's been like 17 posts with that question in the past 3 days and you can go read those. Example: Stuck at 1800 for 2 years, any recommendations for improving positional play?

I am 10. I am around 1800 in USCF 1770 to be exact. I just had an 18 point drop from the nationals. I have been stuck at the 1700-1800 range for about 10 months now. I do lots of puzzles every day, I have just got the puzzle machine badge yesterday. My coaches and my dad say my weakness is on positional. I sometimes have the wrong plan, sometimes my pawn is weak, and sometimes I get attacked because my pieces are on the wrong side of the board. Does anyone recommend anything I could use to learn, and study positional? Sincerely, Celine.

I am around 1150 rapid. Is there a way better than just watching YouTube videos to improve at the opening stage.

a while back i reached 1900 but I've recently fallen into a bit of a slump. I'm wondering what stands between me and a 1900-2000 and what I can do to improve those things. don't be afraid to be harsh on me, I want to do whatever I can to make that next jump

I've played a few games with brilliant moves or high accuracy games. Would chess.com be suspicious about this since I'm a low rated player and got a high accuracy game or brilliant moves?

Hi, I am an around 750-elo chess player. I would like to know how to gain more elo and stay there. How do you also play when you're brain is turning into mush? (and how to play under pressure) Whenever I go over 800, I lose the matches because I feel intimated and then I am not on my top game. I know I can do better, because in irl matches I am rated around 1300. How do you also consistently win matches in 800? Do you recommend any strategies or training? Thank you so much if you could respond!
