If they allowed unlimited blocks and everyone was like billy here, chess.com would quickly run out of disk space and the site would slow to a crawl while it does block-checking.

Well, this is new. I wasn't aware that a thread started in a public forum was considered someones "space".
I just play with my chat disabled. It blocks everyone from talking to me. If they really wish to chat with me, they can leave a message on my notes.
