i agree but you do not give me a correct answer
and that is because you did not ask me a correct question. You asked what is a group and there is nothing in chess.com called a group.
This conversation is about whether chess is a sport or not.

real answer is: no
sports make people healthier.. but chess makes you sick, makes you lose hair.. and it gives you nothing in return.
you just use extensive memory and cpu power just to have some 'fun'.. still it doesn't pay off the effort.
it causes more and more problem than it solves, you get to have fun in the process? hardly.. very hardly.. maybe momentarily after some matches then it makes you upset in the next match.. it never changes

Not if you want to be competitive you have to make sacrifices. I would rather be bald then have arthritis knees from football

is there any other way to play chess? playing against bots? you cant even get a elo without playing real opponents.. chess is designed to play with humans, so it is competitive by its nature.. winning is based on mistakes.
how can this be a choice?
