you seriously have a point. but thing is you dont have to play against masters, online play is good for you (disable chat)
another thing you can do is; keep learning and playing the same opening, learn and play rare and deep variations of it.. go deeper in theory and they will leave you alone..
my second suggestion might be bad for your overall chess progress though
