Road to the Grandmaster title | June IM round 9 | Pogány-Turzo

In the afternoon I went to run with my daughter, we explored new ways today and enjoy to process. It was the 130th day of running.

In the evening I did my calculation training. I was very tired, but still did it. It was the 71st day of the daily calculation training.

Yesterday I played the last round game against the young Hungarian player Zsombor Pogány.

I played again the caro-kann defense. He played a rare line, 2.Nf3 and 3.d3

I played Bg4 and later e7-e5 to gain space and play active chess. I got a strong knight on f4 which lead to win a pawn in the middlegame and win the endgame.
