 The age-old game of chess has been played for centuries throughout the world. Come, learn about the the game in one of the most beautiful cities in Central Europe. The 1st Budapest International Chess Holiday will be an experience like no other. The week-long event will engage your mind and lift your spirit as your love for the game is renewed with every move you make on the board and every breathtaking sight that you take in.

 

 

 

Accommodations have been made for all participants of the 1st International Chess Holiday. Located in central Budapest, the Star Inn Hotel Centrum is within walking distance from major attractions, including the world renown Opera House. You will find the rooms spacious and comfortable. Free internet, and a delicious breakfast bar daily are included.

Lunch will be held at the Sunshine Restaurant. You can visit it on page http://napfenyesetterem.hu/english This will give the participants a chance to catch up, get to know each other, and discuss what they have learned in the morning.

 

 

From 2:30 p.m. until dinner various events have been scheduled. This includes sightseeing around Budapest, attending concerts, hiking in the beautiful mountains and a trip to the thermal bath. There are even a few surprise events in store.

It is encouraged that you register before 1st of July to ensure all accommodations are accounted for.
