Road to the Grandmaster title - Attack of the uncastled king in the Slav defense

My 3rd game in the February Titled Tuesday tournament was with black against National Master Yelfry Torres from the Dominican Republic. The time control was 3 minutes per player plus 2 seconds increment per move.

He started with 1.c4 and I replied with c6 to go to the Slav defense. He played the opening slowly and my active Ne4 move gave me an advantage and a chance to win a pawn which I missed. 

Then I castled he stayed in the middle and started to push his h- and g-pawns to attack my king. I opened the position in wrong way, because his king was still safe, but the g-file opened against my king. After several mistakes on both sides in the time trouble, I was able to open up the middle and checkmate his king:

I analysed the game for about 1 hour and continued to study tactics 2 hours.
