It's a classic case of not knowing what you're getting into.

After rattling off three quality posts, I became seriously busy and my posting slowed down considerably. But I remained committed to delivering one quality post a week, even though I was under the impression that without any time to spend on it, my blog would never get any more than the ~75 views I was getting at the time.

Then, preparing to write a post about crossing 1500 for the second time, I scrolled down instead and the view totals almost made me fall off my chair.

My first six posts are all over 400 views now, three have cracked 500 and I'm sure that the view totals will only go up. And so I want to take the time to thank all of you who have read my blog and enjoyed the content, and perhaps pull out the famous cliche uttered by every successful Youtuber ever and say that "without you, this blog wouldn't be what it is today."

In all honesty, this is more views than I ever expected to get, and I look forward to the day when 500 is no longer an unusual number.

     Sincerely,
