Hi i feel elo rating is better in comparison to glicko , as this game is fun we all njoy playing but here its so difficult now to score, m not asking u to change ur decision immediately take votes and if u get more votes for elo then u can change it, rest no problem ppl share ur views?? I may have shown some of you a video in which I play a real Teams game with vrdtmr and a king capture occurs in 14 plies (Only 4 move cycles). I kinda dont like the alignment/arrangement of the start arrows when you start a new FFA or teams game. I think this is a common problem.... i had experienced this same thing with my crashed PC earlier.

On mobile the user interface in four way chess is waaay to sensitive and leaves alot of opportunity for mistaps the wreck matches. My suggestion is to enable a double tap toggle to prevent this in four way chess settings.

Has playing 4-player chess helped or changed the way you play standard chess? Are the skills transferable? I feel that 4 player chess has helped my tactics in standard chess, and gives me the impression of a smaller board. I'm curious to see how other people feel about this.

A new (beta) version of 4 Player Chess is available at www.chess.com/4pc-test now. Please help us test it! The beta version has its own player rating database and leader boards. When you test it your rating in the main 4PC version stays the same, it changes only in the beta. New features and improvements: - Glicko rating system (instead of ELO). - Colorblind mode. (Red pieces become white. Green become black.) - Early resign or timeout leads to the game being aborted, and the resigner loses 10 rating points. (See below for more info.) - There can be a draw in Teams Mode games now. - A pop-up box with player rating and other information. - Legal move indicators.- Shift+click any piece to see its legal moves at any moment. - A button to invite the same teammate again in the Teams Mode. (Rematch with the partner you just played with.) - Captured pieces are now displayed. - Shift+click on an empty square to clear only your own arrows.- Clearing your arrows also clears them from your partner's (and observers') boards.- Observers can draw (orange) arrows for themselves.- It is possible to draw arrows after a game.- Single square arrows are shown as circles.- An option to hide teammate's arrows. - An option to hide coordinates. - A dot in the center of the FFA board to help find the squares where pawns become queens. - (a dozen or more of minor improvements like new sounds, visualeffects, etc.) Bug fixes:- Double invitation bug. 1.when I close the game over window, I saw that blue was rightfully given +4 but the game over window needs to be consistent. 2. Teams ratings possibly back to the old rating system. The Glicko rating system is not consistent with its beta test glicko system. We might see fewer leaderboard games and more cheaters. 3. Games viewable and playable on mobile. I cannot view the leaderboard on a smartphone anymore. 4. Leaderboard viewable on all or most browsers. Chrome seems to work but edge doesn't. And edge used to work before February. 5. Chat and arrows viewable without having to refresh the page. Any admins that see this: please let me know what can be fixed and when it will be fixed. Thanks -Luke
As it was in previous version. I didn't read this change in new rules? I mated the last player and one king was still untaken. In previous version I would get that king if I mated last player but not now. Is it bug or feature?
On the 7th of August we are going to release a new version of 4 Player Chess. There will be a short period of downtime. The admins will notify players in-game 1 hour before the start of the update.
