I once had a notification that said "Chess.com Beta has a new topic" but with nothing after. Is this caused by me viewing all of the notifications on new beta threads? I don't know what causes this.BTW clicking it takes me to the Chess.com Beta forum.
Simply nothing works properly. - Game type filter doesn't work, whatever I tick, everything gets checked. - There is no indication on which page number of archive you are, back and forth arrows seems do be doing nothing - There is no "last page" arrow, and it was there before Its hard to navigate and find specific game, please fix it.
To reproduce:1. In Chess.com Beta select Forums 2. In the search field enter icon 3. Move to page 2. Bug: The First, < and 1 links should return to page 1 but go to https://www.chess.com/clubs
It will be good to have the option to save the game or position which the user have analyzed on the server, Like the played games, which are accessible in the live sever. What do you guys think?
How does this new feature work? Are there supposed to be numbers that show up after I click analyze?
Will there ever be a live match leaderboard? there is a daily match leaderboard, so why not live matches? https://www.chess.com/leaderboard/clubs/matches here it only says club matches, so does it include live matches? there are active live match clubs that don't get credit because there is no live match leaderboard! Why is this?

An example of this occurs in game https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/live/3619831506. BUG: When trying White's retries one can not move the queen knight, queen, king or king rook:
My archived games show one analysis score, and the game analysis itself shows a different score. The correct score appears on the actual analysis. In fact, it looks like they're almost swapped between players (maybe with a rounding error). This is wrong: This one is is correct:

The new Accuracy column is a great addition. I am wondering a few things:1. Who can view the report analysis once it is generated?------------------------ Unlimited access, meaning anyone regardless of membership level would be very democratic, however it might dilute the reasons for upgrading as one could review other's analyzed games and gain a lot. 2. Does looking at someone else's analysis count toward your daily analysis quota for lower level memberships?
When I'm playing Crazyhouse, you can see the move list at the right-hand side. Chess.com marks certain moves with a # as if it were checkmate. These moves would normally be checkmate in regular chess, but with Crazyhouse, checkmate can be staved off by placing a piece in between the checking piece and the king. Is there a way to fix this? EDIT: It only seems to be happening when viewing the game in Live Chess. When you go here, the bug doesn't turn up. https://www.chess.com/live/game/3625410116

Not sure if this is a glitch? Played a game against this player and checked their stats, as I do from time to time with different players. Noticed his ratings don't seem right. Bullet = 1800 (only 1 game played which resulted in a loss), Blitz = 1599 (1 game played, which resulted in a loss), and Daily = 1500 (2 games played, which both resulted in losses). Doesn't make much sense to me. Perhaps I'm missing something? I don't think he's cheating or anything of that nature. Just don't quite understand how his rating is so high if he's only played one or two games, which resulted in zero wins and only losses. For privacy and respect, I have purposefully blocked the person's username and any identifying information. Support staff can message me directly and I will send them a screenshot of the user's name.
There's a bug when playing Solo Chess, in that game mode is possible to find positions in which you can eat the king, like that one: But when you try to capture the king, instead of failing the puzzle the pieces bug like this

So, lately I have so much problems with network lag, even I can't measure it by any means, it should not be present at all. I have 0% packets loss, average ping time is 180ms which is fine considering it goes over atlantic ocean . . . The problem I see so far is that live chess applet is not aware of short connection losses, which could be caused by either side. I even tried running ping with -t argument to clue out when these problems occur but no luck. Just now finished one bullet game with premoved opening, and I watched clock assigning me 3.2 seconds to premoved Bd3 . . . I usually premove up to Qe1 in this opening: https://www.chess.com/live/game/3473208781 This is "invisible" problem because there is no indication that connection was lost, and I captured by mere chance right now. I even tried recording my bullet games to find out when these connection losses occur, but there was no problems that day so I abandoned the idea. When there is no such problems on my side, my rating goes up to 1850, when these troubles start my rating can go down to 1450. This is very frustrating ! Next thing, not less important and possibly related, when playing from Firefox, it loads 4 engine instances, and as longer You play larger the RAM footprint. It starts from ~200MB and grows up to few GB-s of course with decaying performance and it chokes whole Windows at some point. I switched to Chrome and those problems vanished, but undetectable connection losses remain.
I don't know if this is the expected result: if not, this can still stay as a suggestion to be discussed. When doing a puzzle on a full game PGN, the Set Begin move option enables a tactic to be commenced on the specified move, allowing for all previous moves to stay in the diagram after it is solved. However the Set End move option does not bring the "Solved" status nor moves the diagram back from a puzzle to a diagram. Instead, you have to play all the game moves up to the end of the game.So if I wanted to show the full game I'd have to post two diagrams: one with the puzzle and another with the game, which could turn out into a spoiler. The current alternative is to delete all the remaining moves from the puzzle PGN and maybe not show the full game, or have a link to it, but wouldn't be as practical.
I'd like to have the ability to do nested conditional moves. For example: Let's say I expect my opponent to play Nxe4 and my response is Bb7xe4 - From there, I expect my opponent to pick from two different options. Having Nested Conditional Moves means I wouldn't have to start over with a new line, I could create two different branches off of the first line.Ideally, you could create as many Nested Conditional Moves as you wanted (unlimited nest depth). You could even make the nesting conditions part of the premium features.
I have real grief with the chess.com analysis I feel personally that it doesn't count for the fact the people are playing are human beings. It produces lines of following that people rated under 1300 would Never in a thousand years would have followed or come up with. In this particular case I would doubt that many would turn down a free piece when offered. I am not referring to my infamous bishop sacrifice on f7/f2. But totally unrealistic lines. So it came up that the best move here should have been Bc3 - I understand that. 1 move later 1 move later I moved the Bishop were previously it had said it was the best move, now it is saying Bb4 is best - No one would resist taking that bishop with the rook. 22...Rhd8 23.b3 Kf7 24.Bxd6 Rdc8 25.Qxa7 Ra8 26.Qb7 Kg6 Now my point here is, this is totally unrealistic line of following - and we are getting scores based on this type of screw ups. I do have couple of Chess computers and just for giggles I put this game in there everytime I played Bb4 they screamed at me disastrous! I can't really say this isn't a bug because it is doing what it is designed to, which is why I'm posting instead of bug reporting.

During the course of composing this post I realized this is a minor issue but I mention it anyway. I have 5 lines set in my settings. When viewing the expanded analysis not all five are visible due to lack of real estate. One opportunity for more real estate occurs when the best move has been played.
My live chess thing isn't working. I keeps on saying "...check the internet connection" and I did!

Puzzle Rush is an important tool to students gain a solid base of position recognition. To score decently, you have to be able to quickly recognize hanging pieces, patterns, and themes in many situations. You won't become a good chess player just with Puzzle Rush, but I've never met a good chess player who isn't able to achieve a respectable score. I hope chess.com will add two important features to enhance learning: 1. a moving average for students to measure progress over time 2. and a way to easily identify the types of puzzles/themes a student is having the most difficulty recognizing so they can focus their effort/practice on those themes and master them.Is there any estimate of when additional features may be added to Puzzle Rush?
