Puzzle Rush is an important tool to students gain a solid base of position recognition. To score decently, you have to be able to quickly recognize hanging pieces, patterns, and themes in many situations. You won't become a good chess player just with Puzzle Rush, but I've never met a good chess player who isn't able to achieve a respectable score. I hope chess.com will add two important features to enhance learning: 1. a moving average for students to measure progress over time 2. and a way to easily identify the types of puzzles/themes a student is having the most difficulty recognizing so they can focus their effort/practice on those themes and master them.Is there any estimate of when additional features may be added to Puzzle Rush?

Issue: There is no way to know that the analysis process has completed. Fix: It would be nice if there was some animated icon to indicate an ongoing analysis. Then you would know when the analysis has completed. There is a little feedback as the lines are displayed but toward the end the evaluations are not changing, thus no feedback.
Hi, would it be possible in find clubs to put the page numbers on the top of the page as well as the bottom if you are scrolling through lots of pages it would save a little time. Thanks Eve

I know this might be difficult with the engine and "null" moves, but it'd be neat to have more "unconventional" puzzles, like when only one side gets to move and take all pieces on each move or moving a knight to all squares that are not attacked or knights tours or having puzzles like seeing how many legal moves there are for one side and how many are checks or checkmates or stuff like switching two pieces to make the position legal and fulfill certain criteria.
It stop loading next puzzle despite of I have much remain time (about 3:00) and the current puzzle is about 15-20. It causes me fluctuate in results, and perhaps this bug happens to other persons.

The live chat tab can be moderated, with the abilities by the club admins - Kick/Mute/Warn. But the Intra-club tournament/arena chats cannot be moderated by the admins... that seems weird, right? Sometimes, members spam and advertise. So, how's the idea of being able to use that also?

You know what I'm talking about, if you read the title, here's a screenshot (It's for every puzzle, so it's hard for me to see how much time I'm taking):

Somebody else experienced the same bugs that I did in doing unrated tactics.Sometimes called learning mode it seems. The problem simply can't be played. All of them. It may be intentional? Or unintentional. Or a beta problem. There's no previous move given. No play button. The solution moves are greyed out.And the analysis board button is missing too. Only the chat button for the problem seems to work. And it seems to have nothing to do with daily allotment of tactics problems.Why-how? Because it happens regardless of whether the allotment has been used or not.On all unrated tactics where a link or alert is used to access the unrated tactics problem. But maybe paying members don't have the "bug". So I guess non-paying members could simply request the previous move from other members -and also - later - the solution moves. But if this situation is unintended by chess.com - perhaps that will be made clear soon.

There have been pending puzzles more frequently lately. So rated puzzles are limited based on the subscription. Learning puzzles, the ones without clock or rating are unlimited or have a different counter. So since the pending puzzles don't affect the rating (they give +1 no matter what), could they then not count towards the total of rated puzzles, so they don't waste the slots of the rated puzzles one has available for the day since, well, they're not really rated. Maybe they already don't affect the total, I haven't counted, speaking of which, could there be a counter of how many you've done? So for example if you have 25 available and have done 20, it'd show 20/25 so you know you have 5 left. And if the next one is a pending puzzle, it would stay at 20/25.
When I tried to challenge a friend, it said "Challenge failed. Your account is not yet verified. To challenge this member, play more games!"but I have played thousands - could this please be fixed
This may have been mentioned recently, but I can't remember for certain. Posting it in case it has not been brought up. I was browsing GM @Illingworth 's Blog (https://www.chess.com/blog/Illingworth?page=2) and noticed the "last" page feature was malfunctioning. Whenever I selected "last" which should bring me to the last page (in this case page 4) it would instead bring me to the following page. Example: If I am currently on page 1 and select last, it brings me to page 2 instead of 4. See screenshot attached. GM Max Illingworth's Blog
The new Beta Tactics setup is nice-looking and has benefits -but there seems to be at least two bugs so far.One of them is that some of the problems aren't showing any tags -even though there obviously would be - based on huge numbers of attempts -and from what's in the comments. The other bug is as in the Topic name. In Tactics settings the button is missing from "show details". I'm using Chrome with Windows 10.

I can only view "Page 0" of my games, and if I try to select a time control e.g. rapid, i end up selecting all of them. Thank you for all your great work on the best chess site in the world

Would it be possible to have one move type disabled? For example I have it set to dragging the pieces, but if I click one and then click on a square, it'll still move that piece to that square even if it's set to drag. Obviously this could lead to disaster if a click was not intended and suddenly your queen is where a pawn sacrifice was supposed to go. So maybe there could be an option to have either one or the other with the other completely disabled or both for those who want to use them simultanously.

The lowest time control available for players to play is 10s, but can we have time controls lower than such as 5+1 which should last longer than a 10s game

Jonani / Chess.com © I tried the Solo Challenge this morning for the first time, at which time I completed all 10 levels. I also tried Level 1 multiple times in a row to try and set a new "record". Once playing a few moves of Level 1, I then left the chess.com site and went back on to see if the record would appear upon my next visit. I was disappointed to see my none of my previous games saved. This makes it challenging because if it does not retain my previous score, it seems like a waste of time continuing to play that specific feature, as my results will not be logged for future reference. I have “Beta Chess” mode enabled and tried Solo Chess with two different Internet browsers (Opera and Firefox) and the record of games still did not save. Maybe I'm just mistaken, but I thought that the previous game's record would save so you could come back at a later date and try to surpass your old "score". But maybe I'm incorrect? Just seems odd that you would play 10 Levels of Solo Chess Challenge just to have no record of ever playing it? For informational purposes, my computer specifications are below. Internet connection is a DSL line with speeds up to 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload. Computer is a desktop with Windows 10 Home Edition operating system, with a Razer gaming mouse 3,500 DPI (dots per square inch). Web browser I’m using to access chess.com is Opera, but have also tried Firefox.
"I just clicked 'Load Previous Analysis' in https://www.chess.com/analysis to bring up the 'Save' button." *compliments from GM Max Illingworth (I asked him for help and he couldn't save a game analysis either and suggested I contact support). Not sure if I am doing something wrong but, I cannot "save" the analysis? Tried this using two different browsers. Oddly enough, the "save" feature showed up in Opera, but not in Firefox when I went to the exact same screen (not sure why). Versions I'm using are Firefox 66.0.3 (64-bit) and Opera 60.0.3255.27. See screenshots below. I am trying to get the "Second Opinion" achievement, but have had a hard time trying to find out "how to" get it. I have referenced the following two forum posts regarding gaining achievements and still am having trouble with it. Chess.com Achievements (and how to earn them) https://www.chess.com/blog/joshchessonline/all-chess-com-achievements-and-how-to-earn-them https://www.chess.com/blog/TheRealDiamondGenius/chess-com-achievements Second Opinion Achievement Opera browser Firefox browser Any suggestions - to get this achievement badge and also how to properly save a game analysis - are much appreciated!
