It started when I was making Computer Level 1 play itself and it started getting choppy, then chess.com just quit. I opened it and went back to Computer and it resumed the game, played a few moves, and quit. Now when I try to get to Computer it just immediately quits.

I cant properly capture, who it was caused, but I am sure that I have been confirming promotion to queen in game below, when I have entered the game again - promotion has been done to Knight instead of Queen :-( https://www.chess.com/daily/game/184026760

I was just cross-checking display issues with different browsers and came across the following curious problem with displaying tables in Chrome. This is a table from #1 of the thread https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/2018-wcl-division-3-1: Perfectly fine in Firefox, my preferred browser. However, when I visit this thread in Chrome, the table is demolished like this: Not a problem for myself, as I'm using Firefox. But as an admin of the World Cities League, I would like my announcement to be readable for everyone, independently of the browser they use. Is there a fix for this?

I like how "techy" v3 looks, but my only concern is people like me may have an information overload when trying to navigate through the site. What do I mean by that? Well I think for example in the icon that looks like chat bubbles, has too many subgroups. (similarly to the learning tab)... I think just by adding one more icon (maybe change the difference between people/members/friends with the pro chess league... and other stuff like that). Just don't be lazy and make it a subsection of a subsection aka (cursor over chat becomes 2 categories, people and pros) because that would make it even harder, and probably slower than it sometimes is. EDIT: Also why is there an option to still return to the old site?? I thought chess.com finally moved everyone over to v3...

Message "Thanks for joining Beta forum" keeps appearing over and over every time I log in. Why does it appear if I joined the club already?

In diagrams in vote chess games it is often useful to promote variations as assessments change. I have discovered that a comment placed before the first move of a variation can end up in the wrong place when this is done. The comments should be firmly attached to the move to which they were added, whether before or after it! WIndows 10 PC, Chrome (but I doubt those are factors).

When I log in (regardless of the time/day) I have 2 messages and 35 alerts. When I reload or go to another page, then it'll change to the correct numbers (whatever they are). I am using Google Chrome 63.0.3239.84. To reproduce the bug: 1. Exit chess.com. 2. Open it back up and login. 3. Look at the top of the screen, right hand corner. The result should be you "having" 2 messages and 35 alerts (or maybe something else incorrect). What should of happened was that the messages and alerts having the correct numbers. OK first of all, I love what chess.com has done so far with the analysis boards and how they can color code each move, to indicate whether a certain move is an "excellent" or a "good" move. It also runs pretty smoothly. A suggestion I would like to make however, is for an optional setting (maybe it doesn't have to be for the whole site right now) for color-blind people. I know this might seem strange as color-blind people playing chess does not make much sense... but I am colorblind and it's hard for me to tell the difference between the green, gray, and black? I know in other games they have settings for color blind people and it'll change the colors from red and green to red and purple or something similar. Just makes some sense to appeal to make it easier for people like me. It doesn't have to be a huge change to the entire site, I'm just suggesting for now, have an optional change for the color scheme of specifically the computer analysis (because everything else is customizable e.g. the chess board, and pieces). Generally notice this on my own home page notes. Not sure if it happens elsewhere (but I think it might. I will watch out). Procedure: Write something as a note in the usual field Press return or press the post button (I think it happens for both) Result:A red banner appears for a short while saying "There was an error processing your request". Nothing is posted. Reposting a second time seems to always work. System: Intel, Windows 10, latest Chrome, chess.com V3

1) Not a problem but would it make more sense to put the better moves on the TOP of the analysis engine?(Example: 7.89, 7.65, 8.72???{assuming it is white to move} It should be 8.72, 7.89, 7.65) 2) I saved an analysis. I went on a different thing(openings) I came back to it AND THE ANALYSIS GOT DELETED! It didn't save as it was supposed to! Please fix this. 3) Why does the engine count when someone takes a bishop for a rook and the engine counts it as a good move?(There is no compensation+endgame) 4) Can the team update on Stockfish? Sometimes I get to a mate on the engine and it takes like 5 seconds before it can FINALLY figure out that it is a checkmate. Thank you!

Please fix this 2) I was playing one time and it said I disconnected when I was on the screen of the chess game. How can you be disconnected if you're on the game? Please fix this. Thank you!

When I post tables in forum threads, the editor often generates spurious scrollbars like this: This scrollbar has no function because the table is not wider than the frame. Even worse, when I copy a table of this kind and paste it again, the spurious scrollbar inflates: Both these screenshots are from the thread https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/2017-wcl-division-3-groups-and-schedule. I use Firefox as my browser, but I have also checked this with Chrome, and it doesn't seem to make a difference. On a technical level, this seems to be connected with auto-generated <div> tags like this: <div class="table-responsive narrow-table"> If I'm in an environment in which I can see and edit the HTML code, I can remove these tags and then the scrollbars disappear -- but unfortunately, in most cases, I don't have the option of editing the HTML code. I'm not sure how many of you are experiencing it, I would "screenshot" it but I can't. Basically what happens is I'll start playing a game, everything is fine, and then the board will shake from side to side. It's not quick to the point I can't play, but it moves a centimeter back and forth every second about and can cause seconds of valuable time in fast paced games. FYI I'm using the latest version of Microsoft surface. Have tried with chrome and same thing happens.

I would really like a plain black and white board. Has anyone else suggested this already?

When I send out invitations to one of my clubs, I regularly encounter members who do not accept club invites. Fair enough -- but wouldn't it be a nice idea to hide the "Invite To Join My Club" button with these players? This would save a lot of unnecessary action.

If you hover your mouse over the add new note, it says, please fill out field... which is wrong, because why would I have too?

Sometimes when you post a note, duplicates appear.

There is a capitalisation error which has been introduced at some time in the display of PGN in diagrams (eg in vote chess discussions). As an example, the move 8. ... b6 is displayed as 8. ... B6. (It stands out for this column, as "B" has a different meaning in PGN, of course, but occurs for all columns). [Observed from Chrome on Windows 10 in vote chess discussions].
