Yesterday it started (or much earlier today), and there were many lower ranked countries and names of people not well known playing. However, in the text description it shows "The line-up of teams (available here) has Russia as the top seed, followed by China, USA, and Armenia. A total of 223 grandmasters have signed up among over 1,000 titled players in total. Some of the biggest names participating include GMs Ding Liren, Ian Nepomniachtchi, Alexander Grischuk, Levon Aronian, Viswanathan Anand, Anish Giri, and Wesley So."
If you go to the line up page and check out the top list at https://chess-results.com/tnr530729.aspx?lan=1&art=0&flag=30 it lists the top countries starting rank.
Does anyone know when we might be seeing them play? Since it seems to start in the middle of the night USA time, is there a way to know when the schedule will be presented?
All I see are links to pages for when it does occur, not giving info when it will occur.
