As you say people not liking someone else’s face would effect their behaviour, and the good thing about being online is that people judge you by what you say as opposed to what you look like. With profile pictures many people might simply not be taken seriously because of their age or whatever. Anyway if people are allowed to photoshop it to get rid of certain features then half the pictures will be partially fake anyway so what’s the point?
Anyway people being bullied because of the race/gender of their profile picture is a real concern and I can virtually guarantee it will lead to bullying.
Id also say that more then 1% of the site cares about the privacy aspect.
