App closes when I try to use the retry function on game analysis

People report many problems with the new iOS release in the main forum. What are the bug reporting options for the iOS app? I tell them to use the report problems link in the app because I assume the app is somewhat like the Android app. Is that right? Does the report problems link exist on the iOS app? Or should they report problems at the Apple store?

Aside from push notification (which still does not work after the update), I'd really like to have the ability to manage my preferences from within the app. Disabling vacation, etc. Also, it would be nice if unrated/Fischer games were actually supported -- I keep timing out in those games since I never log in on a computer, just my phone, and then get put on vacation, which can't be disabled within the app.

When using Safari on my iPhone, chess.com's live module has a bug. When I get a game, my first four ranks are invisible! Please sort out this problem f r me .

I'm seeing this a lot in the reviews for our current version (and maybe several versions preceding it), but we're not seeing it in house, so far.  Are you? We'd love to get this sorted out, so if you've seen this behavior please shout out below!

This is on iOS (the most resent version) with up to date chesscom app version. if, while it is your opponent’s move and if premove is on in live chess, then you tap one of your pieces (like you are going to premove it) and tap again on the same piece, then you hear the premove noise. is a bug?

I noticed these issues using tactics trainer in the new app, which caused me to fail several problems... 1. sometimes it indicates the wrong side to play (the black or white dot at top of problem) 2. sometimes timer is missing 3. sometimes timer is frozen 4. sometimes piece/square move highlighting does not work Other suggestion... move the row of icon buttons (next prob, menu, flip, analysis brd, solution, etc) away from the first rank of the board. I often accidentally press the solution button when trying to touch a piece/square on the first rank. David

The analysis board option becomes unavaialable when your opponent makes a draw offer. I like to do some analysis before deciding to accept or reject. Can it be added please?

Hi there, Looking for insight from users who play a LARGE number of echess games at once, specifically related to related experience with the iOS app. Have you played over 50 games (over 100 games??) at once, and used the app with this many games going? If so, what was it like? To avoid memory/performance issues, we're thinking of introducing a cap, so that when you refresh your game list you would see only the "top" 25 or 50 games, sorted first by your time remaining to move. It should be a quite reasonable to have a one place where people could report issues found in a beta version they are already testing. Much more than sending direct messages to Admins, duplicating the same problems and so forth. So, let's begin with a new topic related to issues found in 2.6.7

Hi all, I have been using the application for a couple of months for both iPhone 4S and iPad 2. Let me share my opinion. Push notifications for a move madeIt looks like that a combination "iPhone and iPad" does not work well together regarding the push notifications. Once I am notified on iPhone, the other time on iPad. Never on both. Frankly, I have no idea what algorithm is behind.When I slide a notification on a locked screen then I can see a list of all games. It would be useful to see a game the notification was about. (Un)Conditional movesWell, I cannot wait to have this. Now, I am tied to a laptop or Safari on iPad. How about unconditional moves? Would be useful at the beginning of a game. Weak wifi signal and stabilityIt has happened twice to me that the application crashed during a 5 min game while a wifi was weak. Maybe not related - just giving a clue. Adding a new friendIt looks like there is no way to add a new friend or I simply cannot find it. Opponent infoA small thing. I cannot see a nationality or other data related to an opponent of mine. Bottom toolbarWhen I have a chessboard in front of me I can still see a bottom toolbar (Home, Online, Computer, ...). This is a bit annoying on iPhone when I very often hit an item of the toolbar by mistake. Let us introduce a "Back" button similarly to "Analysis" board and remove the toolbar at all. It basically means that, whereas previously beta testers had to manually figure out their device IDs, send them to us, then download new versions from a link and manually install them via iTunes... Feedback: I absolutely love it! However, I'd love to be able to chat via live chat on the iPad. Can that happen?

You can now (optionally) Chat with your opponent as you play Live chess (not recommended for Bullet! ;) We also improved the graphics for the chess pieces.   If you love the app, it would be GREATLY appreciated if you would give us a fresh ★★★★★ review (only if you really mean it of course!); it's super helpful to us to get good reviews for each version we release, so even if you've submitted a review in the past, have your say once again! :) Conversely, if you're having issues, please let us know about it here, or in the forums, or via Support - basically someplace where we can follow up with you and get the details we need to fix the problem! To begin I'd like to say I've had this problem for some time, and was just waiting for the new update to come out (which has done tonight by the way, and a brilliant job on the Live chess it works brilliantly) to see if it would fix the problem. I've not been recieving push notifications for about two months ever since I downloaded the chess.com app onto my girlfriends iPhone which I had taken by mistake. Ever since I did this I only get badges coming up after I've already loaded the app but not before. I deleted the app off my girlfriends iPhone the same day. I've tried deleted the app and reinstalling it on my phone but still no joy. Can anyone with help? It's really bugging me now.

The title says it all- my iPod touch 4G (running iOS 5 beta if that makes a difference) crashes when I offer a draw. The draw still gets offered though. Is anyone else experiencing this?

One word: WOW! I updated the iPad app and am amazed at how good this app is. The app is a lot less buggy, very clean, easy to see, and has an EXCELLENT interface. Chess.com KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! I honestly didn't think I'd care for the charcole colour over the green, but now that I see it in person, I like the charcole a lot better. Any word on when live chess will be released? I love chess.com and will continue supporting chess.com with diamond membership!
