Hi! @TimeVeteran had an idea to make forums explaining bugs and exploits, so i'll make one. He made a forum explaining Double Royals and more, and it used another bug called Restricted Crazyhouse, which this forum is about. How it works. If there is a dead piece in a player's crazyhouse bank, the player can't drop a piece of this type onto the board. In this crazyhouse bank, it seems like red has 7 wazirs. However, since there is also a dead blue wazir, red actually can't drop any of them. However, they can drop a ferz, because there is no dead ferz in the bank. This can be very useful in many gimmicks, and rawly used also gave me an acception. This also allows a cool tactic: In this position, a trade of ferzes in not a fair trade. Why? Because red will be able to use their ferz in the bank, however yellow not. Setting this up is easy, however remember to use a colored dead piece, not a grey one cause grey one prohibits checkmating. I will go in aphabetical order, and I will add more details to it as time passes. For now, I will only write this down to G, and further questions are for yourself to answer, although we can help. Amazon: This is a general tabooed piece to use, and I generally only advise to use it for bounties, or as pieces where if you collect it, you instantly win. Or, use it as an absolutely ruling piece in a wacky board, like Battle of Castles. Bishop: One of the more versatile pieces, mainly used to be a colorblind but strong piece across all board sizes. Although, polarity can sometimes be a problem, or if you're andrew, call it a feature. Although you may need to sometimes add or remove walls for it to have the right power, it is overall a recommended piece to use across many variants. Camel: First of all, don't use this in pocket chess unless you are 1000% sure of what you're doing. Otherwise, I think it is a fine piece to use as a colorblind army, or sometimes if you know what you're doing, as a royal piece! Also, be careful of the polarity of the camel, because it is also a colorblind piece and can effectively traverse through most kinds of boards, although if the board is large I sometimes recommend you a camel-rider. 1-point queen: First of all, this can be used to make point spread more interesting and dynamic (Limited Life), or as decorational purposes. You basically use it in a GoP game where you want the queen to matter less in terms of point spread, like in Blast Processing, as a 9 pointer queen will sometimes get players >30 points, but other than that not much uses.  Chancellor: This is the piece you use when you want a clunky, or a slow developing but still a strong piece. I recommend you to use this instead of a rook as a better substitution. I mean, look at my creations for how I use them. I strongly advise this piece in atomic variants trust me. It is one of those filler pieces you use when you need something strong. Ferz: This is one of those pieces that should really only be used for Pocket-Chess sized creations. ANYTHING bigger than a 10x10 should never have a ferz unless you are 1200% sure of what you're doing. It is also colorblind so polarity stuff matters but not as much. It is also a piece I strongly advise for Crazyhouse variants. For 8x8 variants? Try, but if it doesnt work probably just remove it. Grasshopper: This is one of the hardest pieces to use correctly. If crazyhouse is there in a grasshopper-included variant, make sure the board is always atleast semi-closed. (I mean this also applies outside of crazyhouse but still), and PLEASE make sure there are always mounts that can make the grasshopper useful for atelast some time. a good implementation of this is Saturn's Rings, with those rings that can always be used for grasshopper mobility, and a not-so-good implementation is Alfarracks, where grasshoppers had nothing to hop for most times, and cannot be used effectively as much. Archbishop: A very versatile yet strong piece, and a very strong checker. It absolutely reigns in a cramped board, but can sometimes be tradey.  Yeah even this took me way too long

When I go to search for varients, this is usually what I see. Those little kids are posting too many variants that are mate in 1. I wish chess.com can just block mate in 1 variants from being posted

We all know how there's multiple acceptance probability sheets, right? But this is going to be different because: -This is more oriented towards feedback, not probability and with little instinct -It's going to take longer to update this lol Before we begin, there is going to be probability of course, but strongly based on votes and my instinct. Blue means I haven't played/cannot give feedback. Green means that this is almost perfect, and has a decent chance of acceptance. (40%+) Red means that this will most possibly get declined. (<10%) Yellow is in between, could be declined, or could not. (>10%, but <40%) Variant Feedback Acceptance Probabily+Votes Sharp Incantation While yes, freeze spells and crazyhouse is a cool idea, this is just not a great execution. The freeze spells in general do not synergize well with crazyhouse and promotion is unlikely, which makes the green queens redundant. 15-20% Charybdis PR to NCV + other balance changes 60-80% +3/-1 Domino Dynamite After much experience, a side is always guaranteed due to the zombie choosing to attack the other side, and since bots attack who moves first, yellow is bound to be at an advantage. Still a great concept! 5-10% +0/-2 Finality Splendid The position is heavily generic and in addition heavily brings the concept down. For one, it is as if Acheron had the crazywan capabilities of Limited Life, but much inferior. In addition, shuffling is a useful strategy which overall makes it declinable. <5% +1/-1 Self-Destruction Forced win for red with stone general rush. <5% Sergeant Dodo Nice work with a great concept! PR to WoF 40-60% +0/-1 Trench War A revision would benefit the concept since the current version is unfit for a WoF or NCV. 5-10% (Unconfirmed) +0/-2 Solacean Solitude The gameplay needs some work, aswell as the piece pallete. 5-check and a chancellor/rook are my suggestions but not else. 15-25% Wild FWFB(according to wolyn) and the Wild140 concept needs testing games. 5-10% Torpedoes in a Lake If this gets another +1 it's green, the gameplay is probably not beginner friendly and it could benefit from dead pieces at the middle. 20-30% +0/-1 Phoenix Drawish. <1% Tsunami First blue! Hill is redundant and spells are insanely powerful. Riptide Apparently my previous statement was wrong after some further testing, and the votes have changed. 10-15% Fast Delivery Concept is great, but needs more work. <5% Fuerzas Desiguales White is still better for human players. <5% Surprising Key Most likely fit for a wof due to the lack of pieces and movement, in addition could be solvable. <10% Contradictory Exchange CGAs do not like BG on WB color scheme ??? Ambitions Grasshopper and Camel-rider promotions are useless, and this may suffer for being generic. <10% Sour Apple Interesting concept. ??? Bare Lion It's either this or Sergeant Dodo being PRed to a WoF 30-50% Collision Course Most likely a concept that is better for a NCV rather than a WoF due to the amount of complexity and calculation needed.  10-20% Ocean's Chaos Not sure. ??? Execution Modern standards tend to be more lenient toward 4p giveaway variants, and that's all I'm going to say. 20-30% Serendipity Wildebeats seem to be extremely powerful here due to the fact that the royals are extremely weakened by their lack of mobility. Another problem is the short amount of moves per each game, on average lasting about 5 moves due to the short n-check and easy checkmating possibility. This leads to the variant being heavily beginner-unfriendly from the previous version, reducing its chance for acception. 10-20% Iron Curtain While fixing the tempo advantage for white in standard atomic, this unfortunately is too sharp for quick hilling and attacks. A bigger board is a potentional solution, but this is most likely going to get declined. <10% Imaginary Town While there is a wildebeast to stop hill rushing, it is too forced for black as he is not quick enough to stop white from hill ruhing entirely. <5% Redeployment Pieces are just too weak, and yellow is just marginally better for the fact that his pieces are not entirely colorblind or extremely weak. Games are slow for the weak pieces, and the high n-check does not help. <10% Strength Might be too similar to minihouse and previously accepted crazyhouse+pocket WoFs, but we shall see. 15-35% Updates more frequently soon! x2
