My last comment wasn't the same either.

I wrote 'before the close your account'. Not the one that translates into.

If you want to become a moderator. You should be active and supportive of people on the forums like a read moderator. I haven't seen many posts from you, so becoming a moderator doesn't seem to be a feasible goal.

I am like that.

I cannot really see the appeal of moderating these forums. It must be like 10 people trying to run a nursery with 10,000 infants.

Yup! I did!

To stop the "off topic spam forums", what you need to do is deprive the topic of its power- THE POWER OF THE TROPHY!!!

From the Moderator club: The basic requirements to be considered are: 18 year of age or older 1 year active member in good standing

But, to reference your first post, if you see things that need moderated, have you reported them? And just because you seem to thing something is inappropriate or that something needs locked, doesn't mean that those things meet the level of a moderator doing that. While the moderators have some discretion and make judgement call on some things, there are guidelines they follow on what should be moderated and/or locked.

And to answer the comment by @NintendoMaster853, @david didn't say the OP would get invited. Sometimes the site will approach members that have been helpful on the site, ones that meet the other requirements, and ask if they would like to be a moderator. That was all that the comment was about.

Martin;  I'm sorry to see him go because I never had a problem with him but, is the site going to replace Taurusmale or no..?

Can't answer that as I have no idea.

I think I should be a mod.  I would be well reasonable, approachable, considerate, merciful, logical, rational, discerning, supportive, tasteful and polite.   Who wants to support my candidacy?

Lets make chess dot com great again! Robbie for Mod! wink.png
