3 Endgame Questions You Should Ask Yourself Every Single Move
Hello fellow chess friends! Today I'll give you advice that will change the path of your entire chess career! Stay tuned if you believe this will help; if you believe this is scam (which so many people message me about), just check out my other blogs on endgames. They'll help.
I've always enjoyed endgames. Not everyone is like that. In fact, most people think that the endgame is the hardest part of chess, which is definitely true. Endgames are the hardest, and this is why we should study them the most.
Here are the Three Questions:
1. What advantages do I have? (This can be anything from more material to better piece placement)
2. What advantages does my opponent have? (This can be anything from solid pawn structure to mating nets)
3. What is my opponent trying to do? (Use the first two questions to figure it out)
It may seem vague at first, but it will appear to be useful once you identify key components of what an endgame should have.
Without any more waiting, here is the video! Enjoy my game where I used the 3 questions to explain my thought process.

Needless to say, this is one of the highest quality videos I've ever done. Almost no stuttering, no miscommunication, and most importantly, I didn't talk fast (at least that's what I think ).
Alright here's your homework (you are in my school now ): Try to analyse one of your games using the 3 questions in the endgames. Think about what you should play then. After that, check what you did play and then check what the computer says. Take notes and try again.
