Well with all the stellar payer playing in the Candidates, there are still tons of great players from all over the world so we will be doing the Top 3 players from each of the 6 Continents(cause no one is from Antarctica).I will also count Russian and Russian players as part of Asia because the majority of Russia is in Asia.

North America
1.Fabiano Caruana, is the world number 2 is a dual citizen of both Italy and the USA. However because his current federation is the USA, that means he will be the top player from North America.

2.Wesley So, is Filipino- American but his current federation is the US. He is the number 7 in the world and one of the best USA players.

3. Lenier Dominguez Perez, is a Cuban -American player whose current federation is the USA. He is currently 14th ranked in the world which puts him ahead of people like Hikaru Nakamura for this list.

South America:

1. Jorge Cori, he is from Peru and he is the top player from South America. He is 91st ranked in the world and is one of the only South American players with a rating over 2600.

2.Rafeal LeiTao, is a Brazilian GM and is one of the best players from Brazil.

3. Diego Flores, is one of the top Argentinian players and has a rating above 2600. he plays for the PCL team the Argentina Krakens.

Europe:

1. Magnus Carlsen, is the best player in the world maybe of all-time. He is a Norwegian Grandmaster ranked number one in the world. He has also won multiple world championship and has the highest rating of all-time.

2. Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, is a French Super GM and is ranked number 8 in the world in classical and number 2 in the world in blitz he is currently a part of the 2020 FIDE Candidates tournament.

3. Anish Giri, is a Dutch grandmaster who has won several Dutch championship and has made the Candidates tournament on multiple occasions.

Asia

1.Vishy Anand, is a Indian Grandmaster who has won several world championships and is considered one of the greatest chess player of all-time. Though he is older than some of the players, because of his achievements he make the top of this list.

2. Ding Liren, is the top Chinese player and number 3 in the world. He is also currently participating ins the FIDE Candidates tournament.

3.Grischuk/Nepomniachtchi, they are both really good Russian GMs in the Candidates.Let me know in the comments who you think is better.

Africa:

1.Bassem Amin, is a Dr. from Egypt. He is currently the top African player and also is ranked 68th in the world. he is also a board 1 on his Pro Chess League team.

2.Adley Amed, is a Grandmaster from Egypt. He is one of the best players from Egypt second to Bassem Amin.

3.Haddouche Mohamed is an Algerian GM, He is one of the top players from Algeria and one of the better Gm's from Africa.

Australia/Oceania 

1. Anton Smirnov, is the top Australian player and is the only Australian player with a rating above 2600.

2. Ian Rogers, is an older Australian GM who also has a rating around 2500 but he is mostly retired but still one of the best ever for Australia.

3,Bobby Cheng, is the third best Australian and he has a rating of above 2500 at around 2539.
