Hello chess fans, with the candidates being postponed, we will look at the top players of each age group. I made a prequel to this(https://www.chess.com/blog/clevelandtribe/the-top-5-players-under-20-years-old) so check out that post as well. I will continue making this series if this gets at least 15 views!

1. Anish Giri, is a 25 year old Dutch Grandmaster. He has won multiple dutch titles as well as other tournaments as well. He is a current player in the 2020 Candidates tournament, and has played in the Candidates before.

2.Richard Rapport, is a 24 year old Hungarian GM. Rapport is currently the 13th ranked player in the world. He is also currently the top player from Hungary and is one of the top 10 European players.

3. Jan-Krzysztof Duda, is a 21 year old Polish Grandmaster. He is the 15th ranked in the world and is the top Polish player. He has lots of potential being on of the younger players on this list.

4. Wei Yi, is a 20 year old Chinese Grandmaster. Yi was a major prodigy in the world as a kid. He won many Junior Championship and broke a lot of records as one of the younger Grandmasters ever. He is ranked 20th in the world.

5.Vidit Santosh Gujrathi, is a 25 year old Indian Grandmaster. he is the current  Indian number 2 behind Vishy Anand. He is also currently number 22 in the world and is also number 5 ranked in Asia.
