The Top 5 Players under 20 years old.
Hello chess fans, since the Candidates tournament was recently suspended, were starting to think about the future of chess to come. We have some of the best Junior players that in a couple of years, might be some of the best chess players in the world. This will not include any player who is currently 20 years old.
1. Alireza Firouzja, is a 16 year old Iranian Grandmaster. He is already 21st in the world and has defeated many other top GMs. Firouzja is the future of chess and maybe even a future world champ. He also has the second highest rating in blitz on chess.com and is one of the top Pro Chess League players even at that young age.

2. Jeffery Xiong, is an American GM who is 19 years old. He is also the 36th best player in the world. Xiong also won the World Junior Chess Championship in 2016. He is one of the best American player, 5th in the US, even at his young age.
3.Parham Maghsoodloo: is a 19 year old Iranian GM who is 57th ranked in world. Maghsoodloo plays on the Pro Chess League team the Armenia Eagles. Maghsoodloo is parts of the very talented and skilled Iranian team. He also won the 2018 world Junior Chess Championship.

4. Andrey Esipensko, is a Russian Grandmaster. He is 18 years old and is already raked 64th in the world. Even at age 18, he is in the top 20 Russian players and in the top 50 on the entire continent of Europe.
5.Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa, is and Indian Grandmaster who is 14. He got his Grandmaster title when he was 12 and was the 4th youngest ever to become a grand master. He is one of the top 250 players in the world and top 100 players in the nation of India. He is a huge chess prodigy and has beaten many famous GMs already.
