Teams Antichess obviously is played with two teams with 2 players each. But what if 1 player played for both of the team's colors. So one player plays red/yellow and the other plays blue/green. What do you think?

Make a board where each user can store it's personal chess army on a template instead of the whole board, so the contrincants could also use their own templates against each other.Two constraints to have in account: board size (mandatory) and army power in centipawns (the sum of the value of every piece in the template.By now my preferred army is fide because im not familiar yet with any other but i'll find one.

For those who haven't noticed, here's what you are really looking at
..point being the 4pc supports a boatload of variants already, but was lacking "2 player friendliness".All 4player games will eventually move over here to variants and the old 4player chess server will retire.

What if we have a variant that is normal chess BUT pawns can move 3 squares if they are on the second rank? Any suggestions?

Similar to crazyhouse, like fide but captured pieces return to it's intial square instead of dissapearing from the board. If the initial square of a piece that was taken is occupied already it will regenerate once this square is freed. Piece regeneration acts inmediately after capture and has no effect on turnss, in variance of bug house. If a piece of your's is captured you must put it back in it's initial square if allowed to and then you can make your move. If you know how to play this game with me online you can message me.

I did the bong cloud opening in the variant >No castling< and my opponent resigned after he lost his bishop.

Is it possible to add the original chess set for Gothic chess?In general, I think that we need a more stylish design for the fairy pieces. The present versions aren't that bad, but I think that we need some changes.

I was way ahead in a game of Fog of War but when I moved my pieces they moved back and my clock timed out. Every move I tried it wouldn't accept. And it didn't say I had disconnected

Hi!
Under "Custom challenge" there is a "rating range" setting and I can't figure out how to make it work. It sometimes seems to work (waits several minutes to start a game with an opponent in the selected range), but most often it does not (starts a game right away with an opponent outside the selected range). Can someone explain the steps to make it work?
After clicking "customize", do I have to click "done" before clicking on "Play" or do I have to keep it open and click "Play" right away? Or something else entirely?

PS: I want to play standard fog of war with lower rating range -200

I played Horde, but I got a strong opponent and I lost :-( It's a shame :-( Very-Very. That's why I always come across tough opponents ?! Either the site mocks, or a stupid random, well, or I'm stupid ... Well, you understand what you think?

Hello! I enjoy playing fog of war, it's my favorite variant. Does anyone have any tips for fog of war? For me it's just random and hoping your opponent made a blunder. Any strategies?

When u capture, that pc is frozen. So if u capture everything everything is frozen. So kings can’t capture. There is something abt this that makes me not like this new variant...idk

I was experimenting a little bit with the openings in FoW recently.I'm not such a good player in this variant, and whenever I was trying to play normally against higher rated players, they somehow have been revealing where is my king and crushing me almost instantly.What do you think about the early pushing a4 and h4 (trying to hide where is your king)? So. how you play this is that there are a few squares, subsequently chosen at random, and whenever any piece, including the king. goes into the portal square, immediately comes out at the other end of the portal. After going through the portal square, black or white's turn is over
so..... What do u think?

Squares which are in the fog have been replaced with a static image of actual fog. Is there any way to turn this off? Before this change, squares in the fog simply appeared darker/shaded, so we could still tell which were dark squares and light squares. The issue is that this image of actual fog does not show the dark and light squares.
